Where is the McRanch Located?
The McRanch is located about 10 minutes west of Dripping Springs, Texas. See us on the map
How long is a workshop?
Workshop length may vary based on the visiting artist. Generally, we try to plan for two day workshops that last Saturday morning to Sunday evening. However, we occasionally have one day and three day workshops depending on the teaching artist and the class topic.
Do workshops include an overnight stay?
In short, no. Workshops will generally be from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM and guests will need to commute to and from each day. See the next question below for more details.
Where should I stay during my workshop?
The McRanch is located approximately 10 minutes West of Dripping Springs, TX, near the intersection of Hwy 290 and FM 165. Due to this area being a popular destination for gatherings, there are many hotels and home hosting options (Airbnb, VRBO, Etc.) nearby. Please be aware that popular wedding months, such as May and October, will see an increase in visitors to the area - so book your stay early.
In addition, The McRanch has three guest bedrooms in the main ranch house available for guests attending workshops that are for rent. Please use the contact us page to inquire about renting one of the available rooms - see more at the links below:
What do I need to bring with me?
Each workshop will have unique needs as far as tools and equipment are concerned. We will try to provide essential tools and supplies when possible, but be sure to check the workshop description for more details.
What is provided with my registration?
All registrations include:
One-on-one and group working sessions with the visiting artist leading the workshop. All workshops include complimentary coffee, tea, and water throughout each day. Necessary safety gear if required (for example, safety glasses for mosaics) will be provided at no extra cost.
Optionally, for some classes you can add lunch on checkout to be delivered each day.
What is your refund policy?
Whatever the reason, we understand that plans change and you may need to cancel your booking. However, we do need a minimum number of participants to ensure our visiting artists have enough people to run the class.
If a class does not meet the minimum attendee requirement: we will notify all who have signed up one week in advance of the scheduled workshop day and issue a full refund.
If you need to cancel a booking: In order to help our visiting artists plan accordingly, no refunds will be issued within 7 days from the scheduled workshop.
I want to register for a class but there are no spots left, do you have a wait list?
Please reach out to us directly through our contact us page and we will add you to the wait list.
