Monotype Magic: Making One-of-a-Kind Prints

Monotype Magic: Making a One-of-a-Kind Print

Taught by Multi-Media Artist, Sandra C. Fernandez

Curious about printmaking?

This session introduces monotype printing, a spontaneous and expressive technique that blends the boldness of print with the softness of painting. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. No two prints come out the same.

You’ll roll out ink, paint or draw directly on to a solid plate then transfer your image onto paper using pressure. The result? A beautifully unpredictable, painterly print with rich textures and layered marks.

No art experience needed - just a willingness to experiment. We provide the tools, the ink and the guidance. You bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend).

You’ll walk away with memories and prints to send as greeting cards, frame and keep or give away as gifts.

Dress for mess. Leave with something unexpected.
